Ambasadors-program

The AmBASAdors Program seeks to provide outstanding senior BASA students with opportunities to develop and to showcase leadership skills in performing, writing, and volunteering. Prospective AmBASAdors will have completed at least three semesters worth of classes at BASA, and will have demonstrated exceptional performance ability.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to:

  • Attend leadership and performance workshops throughout the year

  • Apply their leadership and performing expertise as hosts and MCs at end-of-term recitals

  • Star at end-of-term recitals as featured performers, becoming role-models for fellow BASA students

  • Star in special AmBASAdors performances throughout the year

  • Earn volunteer hours for their service at BASA


Dimensions of Leadership

The Dimensions of Leadership Program aims to give students the skills, credentials, and experience necessary to not only be successful at leadership positions within BASA, but to be successful at leadership positions in life.

Prospective student must be in at least Grade 9 at the start of the school year and have demonstrated significant achievements and accomplishments in the field of Speech and Drama before applying to the Dimensions of Leadership Program. Additionally, they must be able to attend yearly training and re-certification workshops. Successful applicants to the Dimensions of Leadership Program will:

  • Serve as role models and leaders for the BASA Community

  • Be employed at BASA throughout the school year as Rehearsal Coaches

  • Gain first-hand classroom, mentorship, and teaching experience as Faculty Assistants
