MS. Sengotta

Ms.Sengotta began her BASA career at the ripe, old age of 5. Throughout her extensive time at BASA as a student, she had the opportunity to learn from the best minds BASA has to offer. They have all helped her foster her love of literature and spoken arts, and helped build her confidence. This has led her to win BASA Invitational, external spoken words contests, and even become the valedictorian of her graduating class, both at school and at BASA!

Her student career at BASA led her into her professional career at BASA. Ms.Sengotta started as a Faculty Assistant (the amazing BASA students who you see at the front desk), and she worked her way to becoming a teacher! She has been teaching Creative Voices for 3 years, and is excited to be continuing. She also helps facilitate and train the new F.As and AmBASAdors, which are two highly coveted programs here at BASA.

Ms.Sengotta approaches all her classes with a sense of fun and play. She believes that there should always be joy and laughter in a classroom, as it is the best way to learn! Within this idea, she teaches her students how to be confident, decisive and clear communicators.

Ms.Sengotta has received her Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) in Speech and Drama, her DELF- meaning she is also a skilled communicator in French- and she is in the process of receiving her degree in early childhood education at the University of British Columbia.
